A great tale that really demystifies the illusions of what boarding school seems to be and what it truly is, all encompassed in a nice push/pull bonding experience between a mother and daughter. A great debut, and I can't wait to read more.

We want more! :)

Wonderful work. Well written and fun to read. I hope the process of applying for college produces another book of a similar nature.

I just received the book and find it fascinating. What a great accomplishment for the two of you. Congratulations! You are amazing people. I've never seen anything quite like this combination of experience, personal history and how-to-do-it. Thanks. The website is exceptionally good: comprehensive and attractive.

Holly and Liz -- thanks for sharing your fascinating and inspiring story of hiking through trails and the terrain of your lives as mother & daughter. Now that you've spilled this secret to us, Holly, you might expect Jane and me to be your publicists to the Hotchkiss community. How proud you make us all!

What a truely wonderful thing you both have done. Little did I know when I asked Holly to babysit our children, that I would be inviting such an amazing young woman (with a remarkable mother) into our lives. You are both an inspriation to me going forward in life with 2 young children!

Liz, you will never cease to amaze me! This web site is awesome and now I can't wait to read the book. On your list of accomplishments though, Holly forgot to put "fabulous tennis player". And ice hockey player! We miss you so much at tennis these days, but now I understand a little better whar's been keeping you so busy. You really are amazing!
